Diseño de un instrumento para evaluar las competencias desarrolladas por los estudiantes de instituciones educativas particulares

Abstract

El objetivo de la investigación fue determinar las propiedades psicométricas del instrumento diseñado para evaluar las competencias desarrolladas por estudiantes de 5to año de secundaria de instituciones educativas privadas de la UGEL 07. La investigación es instrumental de diseño no experimental, transversal y exploratorio. El muestreo es no probabilístico aplicado a 312 estudiantes. Las evidencias de validez de contenido fueron analizadas mediante la aplicación del Coeficiente de la V de Aiken, siendo sometido el instrumento inicial con diez competencias y 33 ítems al juicio de 10 profesionales, obteniendo niveles de aceptación mayores o iguales a 0.80, evaluando el instrumento por su claridad, representatividad y relevancia. Las evidencias de validez de la estructura interna se calcularon mediante el Análisis Factorial Exploratorio, para determinar el número de factores que conforman la variable de investigación, obteniendo 26 ítems agrupados en 8 factores. Asimismo, las evidencias de confiabilidad se encontraron con el Coeficiente Omega de McDonald, obteniendo 0.856, demostrando un alto nivel de confiabilidad. Obteniendo así, el instrumento “Logro de competencias” válido y confiable, que permiten evaluar las competencias adquiridas por los estudiantes de 5to año de secundaria de instituciones educativas privadas de la UGEL 07.

The objective of the investigation was to determine the psychometric properties of the instrument designed to evaluate the skill developed by 5th year high school students from private educational institutions of UGEL 07. The investigation is instrumental in a non-experimental, transversal and exploratory design. Sampling is non-probability applied to 312 students. The evidence of content validity was analyzed by applying the Aiken V coefficient, the initial instrument with ten competences and 33 items being submitted to the judgment of 10 professionals, obtaining acceptance levels greater than or equal to 0.80, evaluating the instrument by its clarity, representativeness and relevance. The evidences of validity of the internal structure were calculated by means of the Exploratory Factor Analysis, to determine the number of factors that make up the research variable, obtaining 26 items grouped into 8 factors. Likewise, the evidences of reliability were found with the Omega McDonald Coefficient, obtaining 0.856, demonstrating a high level of reliability. Thus, obtaining the valid and reliable instrument “Achievement of skills”, which allows evaluating the competences acquired by the 5th year students of secondary school from private educational institutions of the UGEL 07.
