Compromiso institucional y expectativa de permanencia en la vida militar de jóvenes de la escuela de grumetes de la Marina de Guerra del Perú, área Lima y Callao

Abstract

Se analiza la asociación entre las variables compromiso institucional y expectativa de permanencia en la vida militar en jóvenes de la Escuela de Grumetes de la Marina de Guerra del Perú, del área de Lima y Callao. Se planteó un estudio descriptivo correlacional. La muestra de estudio quedó conformada por 274 jóvenes que realizaban el Servicio Militar Voluntario. Estos respondieron un Cuestionario de Compromiso Institucional y una Escala de Expectativas de Permanencia. Los resultados obtenidos permiten establecer que existe relación positiva y significativa (r = .163*, p < .05) entre el compromiso institucional y las expectativas de permanencia a la vida militar. Asimismo, a nivel específico, se encontró que la correlación entre los diversos indicadores del compromiso institucional y la expectativa de permanencia en la Armada Peruana fue de: afectivo .428 **, de continuidad .287 ** y normativo .833 **; este vínculo también es positivo y altamente significativo (p< .01).

The association between the variables institutional commitment and expectation of permanence in the military life in young people of the School of Grumetes of the Navy of Peru, of the area of Lima and Callao, is analyzed. A correlational descriptive study was proposed. The sample of study was conformed by 274 young people who realized the Military Service Voluntario. These answered an Institutional Commitment Questionnaire and a Persistence Expectation Scale. The results show that there is a positive and significant relationship (r = .163 *, p <.05) between the institutional commitment and the expectations of permanence in military life.
