Estilos de aprendizaje de estudiantes de educación primaria en el área de matemática de una institución educativa de Arequipa, 2019

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo por objetivo general determinar los estilos de aprendizaje que predominan en los estudiantes de quinto y sexto grado de educación primaria en el área de Matemática de una Institución Educativa de Arequipa. El estudio fue de tipo cuantitativo y diseño descriptivo, con una muestra de 52 estudiantes del nivel primario de una Institución Educativa, con edades entre 10 a 12 años, de sexo masculino y femenino, se aplicó el Cuestionario Honey-Alonso de Estilos de Aprendizaje con 80 ítems, relacionados con los estilos activo, reflexivo, teórico y pragmático, se llegó a la siguiente conclusión, el estilo de aprendizaje predominante en los estudiantes es el activo, seguido del pragmático y el teórico , se evidencian rasgos característicos propios del niño y niña del nivel en el marco de un aprendizaje significativo.

The present investigation had as a general objective to determine the learning styles that predominate in the students of fifth and sixth grade of primary education in the Mathematics area of an Educational Institution of Arequipa. The study was of the type quantitative and descriptive design, with a sample of 52 primary level students of an Educational Institution, aged between 10 and 12 years, male and female, the Honey-Alonso Learning Styles Questionnaire was applied with 80 items, related to the active, reflective, theoretical and pragmatic styles, it was reached the following conclusion, the predominant learning style in students is the active, followed by the pragmatic and the theoretical, their own characteristic features are evident of the boy and girl of the level within the framework of significant learning.
